Beginning at the beginning, the Memorial Kindergarten welcomes all pre-schoolers to embark on their very first steps in a rich education future. We provide a warm, caring environment that stimulates curiosity, encourages creativity and promotes learning through play. At the VOA Memorial Kindergarten we allow the children to benefit from the Reggio Emilia philosophy in education through a daily curriculum of real-life problem solving among peers, with numerous opportunities for creative thinking and exploration. The children are encouraged to depict their understanding of life through one of many symbolic languages, including drawing, sculpture, dramatic play, and writing. The learning is open-ended through projects of investigation into the various subjects that interest our students.
